About the Museum

Situated in Wiltshire, England, the Atwell Wilson Motor Museum is within easy reach of the many ancient attractions (Avebury, Silbury Hill, Stonehenge to name but a few) of this rural part of old England. Although the majority of the collection is Cars, the Museum also houses an impressive collection of Lorries, Motor Cycles, Mopeds, Push bikes, a large selection of vehicle manuals and other archive material, and a large collection of motor memorabilia. The Museum is a small friendly one situated in the heart of Wiltshire. The majority of our exhibits are cars from the 1920’s onwards. the Museum also have a collection of motorcycles, mopeds and push bikes as well as interesting motoring memorabilia and a reconstructed 1930’s style garage complete with cars. the Museum have a range of 20 vintage and modern cars from 1924 to 1984. Whether you're looking for a vehicle to take you to your wedding, a prom or any other special occasion, they may have the perfect car for you.

Business Hours

  • The Museum is Open every Sunday through Thursday, (except Christmas Day). It also Opens on Good Friday. During the summer the Opening hours are 11.00am to 5.00pm, changing to 11.00am to 4.00pm in the winter.
